It seems like my account has been restricted again. After your last reply I thought that this problem may be due to the fact that I have set the application to update my connections details by setting it to scan 1000 profile where it opens 3 profiles at a time taking approximately 2-4 seconds on each profile, where as the recommended default limit for using the tool was 500 (3 profiles at a time).
I have been trying to assist Arnnei (the developer of
LICM) with testing the tool, I wanted to check how the performance would be if I set the limit to 400 – 500 (but this time, 1 profile at a time) which has worked OK a few times then has caused my account to get locked again.
Could you kindly:
1) remove the restriction on my account once again
2) clarify what number of profiles would be considered as an excessive high number
3) confirm or at least try to follow up on getting an official confirmation from LinkedIn/CEO if using such a tool as
LICM would be OK or not, or which guidelines must be followed when used.

with regards to his communication with Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn CEO), where Arnnie has stated that he understood that Reid Hoffman will take care of things and he believes that he did.

FYI, I am also under the impression that Arnnie has been working on getting LICM to connect directly to LI using the API rather than using the old
page parsing method.

LICM is not a LinkedIn supported group. Therefore we have absolutely nothing to do with their practices, tools etc.

Our developer API is a great resource for getting information directly from LinkedIn and you can find more information here: http://developer.linkedin.com

Thanks for your reply, the urgency is mostly with unlocking my account first and getting back to me with any sort of reply.

The official answers (which I will also be sharing with the LICM group) can wait, but I can not wait for unlocking my account.

Having no answer for 4 days after resending the issue 3 times for a paid member and a heavy user (who is an advocate) is not professional.

Also having to google keywords like LinkedIn Complains then ending up here to get my matter looked into is not good as well.

There should be an email for complains that un-happy members can write to before coming here.

Hope my account will be unlocked as quickly as possible as quoted in the auto reply from linkedin (not 4 days including the weekend)

I have tried to login to my LinkedIn account and have been locked out for 2 weeks now!!!! I have sent out 5 emails to customer service with not even 1 reply? I have called the customer service number posted on the site and have not been able to contact one live person. HELP!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used to really love LinkedIn, a great networking tool that's made me money & even new friends in the business world.

But they have grown too big, & become another ruined corporate monstrosity imo. I have many many emails & connections I cannot access because of some draconian decision made by a pencil pusher who will not reply to my requests with even a simple, short personalized reply. I HATE automated replies that say nothing substantial, they drive me bonkers!!
