ICE Dies at 30% When Publishing Synth to Web

I've tried repeatedly over the past few hours to publish a synth, but each time I get an error at 30% that states that the program (ICE) has stopped working. Thinking perhaps it was a problem with my computer, I tried it on a coworker's (superior) computer, but the same thing happened again. The composite image looks great in ICE, but I simply can't publish it. I've created other synths in the past exacftly this way and never had problems before. Help!

Hi Anna
I have the same problem.
Read my message in Photosynth website forum (BUGS):

http://photosynth.net/discussion.aspx...

I know it's stupid but i click the "retry" button again and again up until it decides to work.
I realize this is not a great help but try it.
If you have any other info plz contact me at c_ing_rossi@tin.it
thankyou.

Anna, sorry to hear of your problems uploading your panoramas.

I'm not officially with Photosynth, but am a long time community member.

It sounds to me like either:
1) the computers that you are using are running out of RAM (short term memory) while re-projecting your panoramas to a cube map or
2) your photos have some sort of metadata attached to them that ICE doesn't know how to handle.

In either case, I'd be happy to try stitching your photos on one of my computers if you are willing to upload the original photos to a public SkyDrive album and post the link here so that I could download them and give them a try. That way, we could see whether the problem is specific to the computers at your disposal or a problem that occurs universally.

Cristian, I do not believe that your problem is the same one that Anna is experiencing.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems.

Perhaps there is something amiss with Photosynth's login servers that the synther (Photosynth app for Windows) is using, although I have not had problems myself earlier in the week.

I have asked the Photosynth team whether that might be the case, since I have seen several reports to that effect in the past week and will report back on your discussion if I hear anything.

Anna, I had the very same problem and was using a very modern high performance computer. I tried it on two other computers with the same result. Nathanael was right about the meta data. I opened all the files in adobe bridge and cleared all the meta data, then it worked just fine.
