I know that it is always hard to estimate things like this, but I am curious if it would be possible to get an estimated time of arrival for a Mac version of Photosynth. I am a die-hard Mac user, and this app looks amazing.
Once you're accepted, all you need is some photos shot for one of the four new synth types and your desktop/laptop web browser.
The photos for new synths are now uploaded directly through the browser, synthed on Photosynth's servers, and viewed in the browser.
The new synth viewer is written in WebGL and works in Internet Explorer 11, and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome (Safari as well, if you manually enable WebGL). This means that you can now both create and view synths from any desktop or laptop, regardless of whether it runs Windows, MacOS, or Linux.
