Zoom it, stuck in queued mode

Trying to upload a file and in stuck in "queued"? am i doing something wrong

Mine has been stuck in "fetching" for a few hours... Is this normal?

No, it isn't normal.

All that is happening in that stage is zoom.it's computer is downloading the image in order to convert it to multiple resolutions and chop each one into tiles.

They have a fast connection, so even the largest images shouldn't take long for them to download.

Guys, I wouldn't count on zoom.it being around too much longer.

You can download Deep Zoom Composer to convert images to Deep Zoom Image format on your own computer and upload them to your own server or DropBox.

Some other alternatives to Deep Zoom Composer and zoom.it collected here:

You may also want to check out ZoomHub which is a similar web service created by some ex-Live Labs guys which you can install on your own server.
