Can't see my own Items any more

Hi !
I have lots of own image that I calibrate with "On-board map calibrator"
It works fine before the new ver ( see ScreenCapture), but not now ;-(
Is there any checkbox I have missed ??
Locus say "Importing...." and then "Process Successful" when I select a Item.
But there is no Item on the map .......

Btw, the ScreenCapture shows a typical application how I use Locus when I'm out and sailing in the Swedish archipelago. No road's, no marked tracks only water, rocks AND underwater rocks !! So I have to watch out and trust Locus ;-)

I'm testing it on KMZ files from Shop (Australia) and it works correctly. May you send me small sample map? Thanks (and really sorry for unwanted problem)

Menion-

I also noticed this in test version 2.2.0.9
The only items it seems to affect are calibrated images.

yes it's from ver 2.2.1
And sure, I can mail you some sample maps, and the adress is ?
But perhapes Starman had a good point !

Btw, in fact Locus sometimes crash when I work with the map calibration......
I remember there was some "logging software", I think that should be good for me (and you) if I made some logging when Locus crash and then send the log-file to you
( Yes I know it can be problem if the image is to big .........where is the limit whats big ? )

Hi Zailor-

The crash while using on-board calibrator is a memory issue, recently discussed here-

Like Zailor says, when you load a calibrated image item, you get the normal messages, but no image. If you click on the item, then click "center map", the screen center moves to where the center of the map should be. So apparently the calibration points are loading, but not the image.

since 2.2.1, Locus support semitransparent images. Unfortunately if GroundOverlay do not have set color, locus make it fully transparent.

Issue fixed. Workaround to next version is to add to problematic GroundOverlay tag

<color>ffffffff</color>

Something odd too besides color, regarding names.
I tried to create new map using same image as first map.
Used 4 new calibration pts, gave new map new unique name.
Process was "successful"
Map with new name.kmz now shows up on Items tab.
But when I load it, it lists under "Loaded Map Items' with old map name!!!

Above happens even if I delete old map from Locus/mapitems !!:

New map name shows on Items Tab
Old map now does not show on Items Tab.
But loads with old name.
even with old map deleted!

When above naming problem occured, I was using Locus Pro (2.2.1), but I also had Locus Free/Test (2.2.0.9) installed. Now have updated Locus Free to 2.2.1, naming problem no longer exists.

Adding color tags cured map visibility problem.
I have no further issues with calibrated map items.

testing Free and market Pro was causing such issues? Interesting .. I changed a little some methods in parsing KML files but it should not have effect on this ... hmm

anyway, glad that problem solved. In case of next troubles, feel free to create new topic.
