The turn-by-turn car navigation in Locus has been slightly improved in 2.12.1 (thanks for that), however one big "pain in ass" (sorry for being so straight) still remains:
At the moment when I leave the calculated route (it makes no difference whether by mistake or on purpose) Locus starts recalculation. It is obvious it is going to take some time but what is the most unpleasant at the moment is the fact I cannot see the map and my position in it because of the window announcing a new route is being calculated ...
Is that really so hard to solve and to programme another way of announcement (e.g. a blinking icon in the corner) giving the user CONTINUOUS information about his/her position in the map ??
This really makes me hit the roof ! Sometimes Locus tries to lead me through unusable way (I know Locus itself is not to blame - it only tells me what it has been told by the internet server) which gets me under pressure and forces me to make a quick decision about my way and at this crucial moment when I do need to see the map most, it keeps calculating and calculating ... GRRR ! :@ :-)
