What you think about new function, that will deeply integrate GPSies server with Locus. So some ability to search for tracks around location and select some for import/display etc ...

Hello Menion,

definatly a good idea and the right direction to offer more "community" based functionality.

...and wikiloc. and panoramio. and wikipedia. and more! layers with tracks and/or points are quite useful.

www.gps-tour.info often contains much more information about the trip.Gpsies often provides only the track with no comments or detailed discription.

Couldnt all those layers work via networked links in kmz files now? We'd only need a "translation" add-on that does tourportal -> kmz

I'd love to be able to download the track directly from a web where I create it (any web, not necessarily GPSies). Now I have to use file for intermediate data transfer which adds few unnecessary steps to the process (export track to file, save to Drive, load from Drive, load in Locus -- not using cable). Cykloserver.cz would be nice but just any web service which is the easiest to integrate would do. Thank you!

In app trails finding.

Hello,

Really great app that I use to manage my hiking with offline map when I travel.

However it would be great to have an in-app trail finding system instead of going on different websites and saving KML files then import, which is quite annoying...

What about an in-app integration with Gpsies or every trail etc...?

It's great idea. I use the track logs for geo tagging photos (from external camera without GPS). Automatic export track to my computer (for example webserver - http) would be great to automation - immediately after save stop track recording and get internet connectivity.
