Menu > Search > (Search in offline POI) By coordinates

so maybe some improvements here?

Yes. It is, what I look for. So two ideas. I can't defined radius and I can't check checkbox for all founded points with one click.

Hmm,
this is new version of result dialog. Increased is number of displayed points from 100 to 250 nearest (same for searching by some text).

I was thinking about ability to specify radius but this seems for me as one more step that is not much useful. So I hope, current solution will be enough

Yes. The solution showing in screenshost will be ok. Select first 50 points is sufficient. I look forward to new update.

im planning to make a POI database consisting of ~12000 trainstations, so I hope i would be able to load them all and then use this function to show only 50 closest ones, to not overload the CPU and RAM

I would like to add something to this topic. I was thinking about creating separate thread for that, but maybe there is no need.

I have a lots of points categories. Sometimes im going through some area. Not to one place, but many places. I dont want to search for points only near one of this place. I dont even know where I will be going exactly. I dont know what area exactly will cover my "needs".
So the idea is to make the points appear and dissappear dynamically ( line in NetworksLink KML). It would be nice to configure:
- distance from my GPS position for which the points will be visible
- or just display all point whichs are inside the rectangle of the current screen ( maybe with some configurable limit)

This is pretty serious, I know, but guessing which categories has their member points near me, is impossible if you have many many categories

this is really more on "new idea" because of complexity.

just my personal opinion is that current system isn't too fast in searching by coordinates (locus problem I know). Mainly if you have really a lot of points (10k+). Such feature should be nice, but also quite CPU intensive.

ok, so maybe, add this option:

- or just display all point whichs are inside the rectangle of the current screen ( maybe with some configurable limit)

to the Items visibility menu?
