I’m frustrated

"Unable to locate digidesign hardware" after I accidently unplugged Oxygen 49

Win 7(64 bit)
Pro Tools 8.0.5
Mbox Mini
M-Audio Oxygen49(3rd)

I had unplugged the USB for the Oxygen49 and by mistake turned on PC. I quickly plugged USB back in the same port. Then suspected something wrong with my PC when I did not see Windows Welcome. I then manually restarted PC..then after realizing my monitor was not plugged in. Hence the black screen. Since then I have not been able to open PT and always receiving the error message " unable to locate digidesign hardware"
Any help?

    Thanks for posting!

The Oxygen is just a MIDI controller - you can unplug and plug that in all day and it won't affect your computer other than its ability to receive MIDI data from it. What you are experiencing sounds like it is relative to your audio interface (the M-Box) as its connection will affect your ability to work with Pro Tools. Please refer to this post at Avid's forum for more information and a possible solution:
