I’m disappointed.

AV-30 and AV-40 Repair

I've had a pair of AV-30 and AV-40 speakers each die after a couple years of use due to the crummy power amps going dead. Upon searching around for solutions, it looks like it is a common problem with M-Audio offering no replacement internal board for replacement. I liked their sound, but no more will I buy a set of "throw-away" speakers. Will replace with a different brand with better track record for durability and support.

    I'm sorry you've had some trouble with your monitors. This sounds like it may be hardware related so I would encourage you to get in touch with our technical support team to coordinate service. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.
