  • HI Jared,

    Thanks for posting!

The Axiom Pro series does not have Hypercontrol support for Logic Pro X, but the Hypercontrol for Logic 8/9 may still work. Here's what I recommend:

Download the Axiom Pro Logic Hypercontrol file:

Axiom Pro - Hypercontrol for Logic Pro

    1) Download and unzip the file above. Locate the AxiomPro.bundle file. This is the file that enables HyperControl within Logic.
    2) In your Downloads folder, select the AxiomPro.bundle file you've just downloaded and press command+C to copy the file.
    3) In your Applications folder, locate the Logic Pro X icon.
    4) Right click and select "Show Package Contents"
    5) Navigate to Content>MIDI Device Plug-Ins
    6) Press command+v to paste the AxiomPro.bundle into this folder.
    7) Launch Logic Pro X (with Axiom Pro connected)
    8) From the top menu, navigate Logic Pro X>Control Surface>Setup
    9) Verify the Axiom AIR icon appears.
    10) Press the the letter I to reveal the inspector. Ensure the Axiom Pro's Input and Output port is set to HyperControl.
    11) That's it! Axiom Pro HyperControl should now enabled in Logic X.

Again, this may not work because the software was designed for an earlier version of Logic, but it's worth a shot.

If all else fails, mapping in Logic is fairly easy to setup. You can check out this guide for more info on how to do that:

    Hope this helps!

  • The AxiomPro.bundle doesn't work for Logic X (tried the above...). To bad somebody can't write a simple driver for the Axiom Pro series to work with Logic X...could make some $$ an s avoid throwing this worthless piece of plastic in the trash. It reads sysex all day long, but no notes. Funny thing....I had a Frontier Tranzport controller and same thing...manufacturer did not support beyond OS9. A smart person wrote a driver, I paid $$ for it and it works flawlessly. Just need to know how to do it.
