Code 49 not recognized by window power supply dead

I use code 49 keyboard and I tried to connect it with external powersupply but not the good one. When I did that I believe I grilled a electronic part of it. Maybe power supply. Today when I try to connect to the window's PC I only have B1 to B8 keys illuminited.
Is it possible to change this part or must I buy a new keyboard ? What is the best and cheappest solution ? Thanks

    Sorry to hear that! If you power the Code by the USB terminal, does the keyboard fully power on? If not, then it sounds like the main board was damaged. In this case, I recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.


    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.
