Code 49 Oneshot vs. ADSR

Is there a way to make samples triggered on Code49 pads continue playing after being pressed? I'm used to Maschine and in that software it's called a one-shot but I'm not seeing anything about that in relation to the Code 49

    Hey Lillian,

    Thanks for posting!

Depending on the length of your samples and whether they are looped or not, you may want to set the pads to latch. This implements a toggle behavior, where the pad will transmit a Note On message when it is pressed and a Note Off value when pressed a second time instead of on the pad's release. For more information on how to configure the pads to latch, refer to page 82 of the Code's User Guide.

Another option is to adjust the ADSR envelope of the sample in your DAW. The release phase of an envelope is the audio tail that continues after the pad is let go. If your release is set to a short amount of time, the sample will cut off dramatically when the pad is disengaged. Lengthen the release time to ensure that the sample plays all the way through.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
