Code 61 Midi Dropout

This is an ongoing issue, after playing the code 61 for maybe 30-45 min, the notes will just stick, and the midi will not show any transport to my interface. I purchased the unit in Feb/2019 and silly me, I assumed it was my laptop. However, I recently purchased an IPAD organ app, which does not need a laptop, and voila, same thing happened. So, I started monitoring when it happened and noting what may have happened such as ipad alerts, messages, facetimes etc, and oddly I can play through all of these, last few times it happened I noticed I had been using the volume pedal (which I have assigned as modulation in the preset editor). Prior, when using the laptop, thinking back, it was happening when using the sustain pedal during a piano vst session. At any rate, I am convinced this is related to the pedal and numerous keys being played at once. I am still testing, but maybe a fix can be looked into regarding the pedal/s and midi droput?
Also: Issue happens via USB midi and Midi Cable direct to my Focusrite, so it is not the midi usb, because I do not need to connect that if I use the midi cable.

    Hey Greg,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. I suggest testing the Code with MIDI Monitoring software to verify that the keys are sending Note Off messages when released. A MIDI monitor will show you all the incoming data from any MIDI controllers or MIDI interfaces that you have connected to your computer.

For testing MIDI devices on PC:
    Download MIDI-OX

This video will get you set up quickly for MIDI input monitoring in MIDI-OX:
    Monitoring MIDI Input with MIDI-OX

For testing MIDI devices on Mac:
    Download snoize: MIDI Monitor

Select the Code as a MIDI input source in the monitor and send some data with its keys and controllers. If you see Note Off data appear in the input monitor window when releasing the keys, then it is not a hardware issue but due to a transmission bottleneck at some point in your setup. In which case we would have to take a deeper look at your system specifications, the DAW you are using and resource management.

If the Code is not sending MIDI Note Off data to the monitor, it may be hardware related. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:
