Code 61 no sound in Logic Pro X
Hi - I'm trying to connect a Code 61 to Logic Pro X. I believe I have setup right for Mackie/HUI. The faders are working in Logic but I get no sound from keyboard or pads. I checked in Midi Monitor and I get odd results: for USB/Midi I get key data, pitch/mod wheel, sus pedal. For Mackie/HUI I see fader and knob info only. But no matter what I set in Logic control surface setup I get no sound. I'm new to midi etc. so I may be overlooking something, but I'm stumped. I had an old Oxygen 49 connected and the keyboard worked. Have tried new USB cables, connected directly to Mac. Any ideas? Thx so much.

OK I found my problem, for any other noobs... Under Midi prefs "Code 61 USB MIDI" was unchecked. I think all the emphasis in setup info on selecting "MACKIE/HUI" made me think that USB input should be off - now I think I get that the USB MIDI is for general keyboard midi data and HUI is for the other fader/mixer types of controls. You need both, not one or the other. Like I said... noob.
