Does Oxygen 49 have internal sounds?

I recently bought a Oxygen 49 and when I connect it to my daw (Cubase 9.5), there's no sound. If I use a VST track, I get the sounds, though. Thus, it made me wonder if this Controller doesnt have internal sounds. I assumed it had, since there's presets.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

    Hey João Pedro,

    Thanks for posting!

The Oxygen 49 is a MIDI Controller which means that it doesn't have an internal sound card to produce sounds. These units are used to send MIDI data (performance messages) to a virtual instrument in your DAW or hardware module.

The presets that you are referring to are different MIDI configurations that can be used to sync the Oxygen to control specific software parameters.

Let me know if you have any questions!
