Hello Alessandro,
Thanks for posting. I'd be happy to help!
Are you using a Mac or Windows computer? Which OS version? -
-
hey i can't figure this out i am using windows 8 i hook up to the computer but i don't know if i need software in order to work all it came with is the axiom 25 and
a wire no cd or manual -

if they don't require any drive do they have there owned program all i need to do
is hook up with my piano. if i need a music i have a acid pro 7 . can i get it to work with that program -
-
All you need to do is hook up the Axiom, open Acid Pro 7, and add it as a MIDI device.
I'm not very familiar with Acid Pro 7, but I believe there is a Options>Preferences>MIDI menu where you can add the Axiom as a MIDI input. -
-
yes i did that and did not work with acid pro . the acid pro has a list of the brand names for the different devices. the axiom is not on the list how can i connect
-

There is likely a generic controller option or a way to define your own new device. I would recommend reading through the Acid Pro documentation for more details.
Acid Pro 7 - User Guide - MIDI Devices
If you're still having trouble, then you can test that the Axiom is working with a free MIDI diagnostic program. Download below:
MIDI-OX
1) Close Acid Pro 7.
2) Open MIDI Monitor.
3) Go to Options>MIDI Devices
4) The Axiom or M-Audio device should be in the "MIDI Inputs" box. If so, select it.
5) Click OK to close the options window.
6) Press a key on the Axiom. You should see MIDI note messages appear in the window below.
Let me know how it goes! -

thanks Dan i got it to work the only thing is that only the touch pad are playing how do i switch to the piano keys

From the Axiom side, there is no way to "turn off" the keyboard, so to speak.
It might be a very specific setting in Acid Pro that is causing this. Would you be able to open MIDI-OX again and press some keys, take a screenshot, and upload that image here?-
What are you talking about? There is an on off switch...

"Turn off" was referring specifically to the keyboard, in a matter of speaking. There is no way to disable the output of the keybed.

no it not that . the thing is this the axiom has it on sounds and drum beats
i want to know how to play those beats.right now my i connected to the acid pro
but i am playing the sounds from the acid pro it self . i want to play the sounds that
i will make with the axiom 25 and all so the axiom 25 i am playing the touch pad
and the piano keys are not working how do i get it to work do i need to program them can you tell me how to do it . -

I'm not totally understanding your request. We know for sure that the Axiom is working properly, so perhaps this is a matter of assigning your Acid Pro instruments to the proper notes.
It may be easiest to consult Acid Pro documentation or their online resources for information on how to implement keyboard MIDI controllers. -

My question is that the axiom 25 cames with the software on a cd wich i dont have i never got it when i puched it at guitar center i need that software in order to work the axiom 25 that is my question

No software is required to use the Axiom series with Acid Pro. As mentioned before, it is a class-compliant device and we have already confirmed it is properly communicating with your computer.
You will need to refer to the documentation or support resources from Sony for how to properly assign a MIDI controller to whichever sounds or instruments you're trying to use in Acid Pro.
In order to know if your Axiom comes with other software, when purchased new, then I'll need to know which generation you have. Refer to the pictures posted earlier in this thread.
Thanks! -
