  • Hey Борис Чижов,

    Thanks for posting!

The FireWire Solo is a legacy product that has limited support for the OS X operating system. This interface was last supported on OS X 10.7.4. You can download the last available driver for OS X 10.7.4 at the following link:

M-Audio FireWire Solo Driver - Mac

I have seen users report that there are workarounds to make this interface function with versions of OS X later than 10.7.4 but these methods cannot be officially supported.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

There are tweaked drivers and a convoluted installation. I have the Firewire Solo running on macOS Mojave. You do need a few adapter cables, though. All in all, may not be worth the trouble.
    • Thanks for the link man. Mine's been relegated back to the 'too hard' pile for now...

  • Could we have a solution for those who bought this product and still need to use it for work? "This methods cannot be supported officially" sounds like bullshit to me. What should I do? Throw it to the trash? Is that what your products are worth?
    Thanks a lot, really.
