Export Settings from one Axiom to another

My Axiom 49 is set up correctly after some tweaking, but now I'd like to export those settings and import them into my Axiom 61. (To save time having to set up all the controllers manually on the 61 to be identical) Is there some kind of command that's missing from the manual?
Thanks

  • Hey Stewart,

    Thanks for posting!

You can export the patch locations of your Axiom by using a SysEx Memory Dump. More information regarding the process of executing and restoring a memory dump can be found on page 11 of the Axiom's user manual.

To be honest, I have never tried sending a memory dump from an Axiom 49 to an Axiom 61 but I do think it should work out!

    Let us know!

  • I'm also wondering about the memory dump. There seems to be nothing in the manual indicating where on my computer it saves to. I need to know this so I can send the file back into the axiom. My reason is to restore user settings after a factory reset, which I frequently do. I've checked my downloads, documents, recent files, desktop, etc. and can't find it anywhere. Help! :)
