Trigger Finger Pro / AIRdrums: mute certain pads/change parameter values with one button?

I am getting better and better in understanding how to use FTP with Airdrums, thanks to your support, it's really encouraging!

Now, there is something that I haven't really understand.
lets say I have 10 pads playing a pattern/rhythm.
I have assigned a control, lets say "reverb mix" on a fader.
I want to understand if it's possible to switch between status A and status B with a "single" button action:

STATUS A: mute 5 of these pads + set reverb mix to 80%
STATUS B: unmute 3 of the muted pads+set reverb mix to 30%

How do I switch between these two statuses?
thanks!

  • Hi,

    Thanks for posting.

I can't think of any way to do this immediately with a single button press, but it shouldn't be too hard to perform this with two hands and the pad mute mode. Have you tried this yet?

Ideally, what you'd be looking for is like a snapshot feature in Arsenal so you can quickly save all current settings and recall them immediately. I'll be happy to add this as a feature request for you!

    Hope this helps!

  • thanks Corey for your support!
I gave this simple example just to be easily understood. In fact I would like to change simultaneously many more parameters instantly, some cut off, reverbs, mutes, etc which is impossible to perform manually unless you have Dj Octapus with you :)
It would be nice when saving the sequence to save all parameters, mutes, etc in the sequence.
