Hi, we have just got an m-track 2x2, with the idea of using it to convert the tones from a Casio electric piano to a synthesiser sound for example. We are having a lot of trouble trying to get it connected to any software any ideas what we are doing wrong please?

  • Hey Dean,

    Thanks for posting!

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do here but I'll be happy to help! Do you want to use the M-Track to record audio samples from the Casio and use them in another application? Do you want to send MIDI data from the Casio to your computer and use it to control a virtual instrument? Something else maybe?

What operating system are you running on your computer? If you are using a Windows operating system, you will need to install a driver to connect the interface to your computer:

    M-Audio - M-Track 2X2 Driver - Windows

A little more detail will help me understand. Thank you!

  • Thank you for the response, we were looking to control a virtual instrument on a MacBook, have found the connection in the audio app which was hidden and now downloaded GarageBand to use with it.

    Thanks again.
