Hi,
I have got a guitar multieffects device (L and R output jacks, and one input jack). I'd like to know how to connect this equipment to Mtrack. I can see a picture in the manual of a external effects module conencted with a cable with two jacks in one end and one jack in the other end. What's the name of this type of cable? How may I outline the connections?
Thanks in advance. Regards.
Angel.
How can I connect a guitar multieffects device to M-Track insert input?

You can use the insert to send and receive signal on one TRS and have a dual TS break out. A regular TRS to dual TS will do this for you. One TS end will be the send the other the return - while the TRS is connected to which ever channel you are taking signal from. The channel will use the preamp and then send the audio to the insert (send) if connected.

is it possible to take the insert from one channel and use as an input on the second channel. basically what is want to do is record dry signal on channel 1 and take its insert as the input for 2nd channel thus recording wet signal and dry single signal simultaneously. Is it possible?

Hi,
Hmm, if you were to insert the TRS of an insert Y-cable into say channel 1, then you'd have to send a return feed back, otherwise the signal won't flow any further inside the M-Track.
If you have a dry output from your effects processor, you could use that for the return into channel 1 (the other TS of the Y-cable) whilst using a regular TS to TS cable from the effects processor mono wet output into channel 2. Thus you have mono dry and a mono wet signal.
Kind regards -
