I’m anxious

I cannot access M-Audio web site...I can access every website on the web except M-Audio....I have tried everything, I think...

I can't access M-Audio Website, no matter what. I have used every web browser I have (5). I have changed firewall settings, proxy, rebooted modem. I have checked my internet settings. I CAN access every website I think of to include every major music coorpration's websites (ie. Alesis, Roland, E-Mu, Korg, Yamaha etc...) This has got me completely perplexed. I have a Trigger Finger Pro that I am trying to register and also retrieve software. An answer. I thought the site was down and I have scoured the internet to look for other download m-audio links....

  • Sorry David, that was the email I posted. Stoopid answer but are you using the hyphen in www.m-audio.com ? Otherwise email them directly at the address I gave in my previous answer. Otherwise have you checked to see that it has not gone off into your cache or junk mail folder?

  • FURTHER THOUGHTS - What I found in my M-HUB PROGRAM FILE LIST:

    1. CODE61 Firmware Updater published by INMUSIC BRANDS, INC
    2. M-AUDIO M-Hub Control Panel
    3. M-AUDIO OXYGEN 49 FIRMWARE UPDATER

Its got to be something simple. I've often found after fiddling around for hours the solution presents itself so simply that I'm ashamed of myself. Don't give up, but maybe give it a break for a day and enjoy the weekend.

  • Hey Dark Martyr,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble! I checked the website and it is fully functioning. It's possible that there was some maintenance occurring at the time. Are you receiving a specific error message when you go to https://m-audio.com/?

  • I’m accepting my fate....
    Hi Stan and Eliza....

Thank you so much for both of your replies....I very much appreciate the info provided....

In regards to Stan's information, I will try the tips and much welcomed detailed suggestions. I will try to examine and see if the tips worked, and I will post back when I find the outcome...(I work weekends and nights on 12 hour shifts, so I may be forced to give it the weekend off before I can further research and attempt the afformentioned solutions...)

In regards to Eliza's information. I get a message that the web site cannot be reached or server does not respond or is unavailable. I am currently checking my firewall, but what is wierd is I do not get this from any other web site nor has this ever happened to me in my experieinces. I've done dome further research amd I have seen that this has happenned to other people for other websites and it has something to do in very advanced "computer programming language" of a certain code in the router or modem of a blocked URL that I would need to access and fix through that hardware. It is much beyond my "layman's" common understanding of computer communications....I also disabled my antivirus and firewall and still get the same message: "Problem Loading Page".

I tried to access M-Audio from my work computer on a portable browser on a thumb drive and I DID GET THROUGH...Yayyy! I was able to register and down load nessessary files, for the most part....So I am still perplexed and I now know it is not anything to do with M-Audio site...I own several computers or more, at my home and no matter what I try, I cannot get through, so it has to be my modem and/or router. Because of this, I just may have to live with it. I am hessitant to change the programing code of those harware devices, and even though I have extensively tried to edit proxy, firewall, network settings, LAN settings, DNS settings etc....I just have no luck...I think I'll just to accept my fate, until I can gain the knowledge to change settings of the hardware code of the router/modem.

Regardless, I will try what Stan said and I do appreciate your reponse, Eliza.

    Respectfully,

    Dark Martyr (Drako)
