I’m anxious

I Can't connect M-Track 2x2 to my computer and i have not been given a support code.

I've tried everything but i just connect my M-Audio M-Track 2x2 C-series to my computer. I use windows 10 and when i plug it in the LED's on the interface light up but nothing else happens, and when i try to switch to the M-Audio M-Track 2x2 driver in cubase an error message appears saying "No hardware found or already in use!" i have researched this issue and discovered that it seems to be a common problem, however none of the advice on any of the m-audio forums has been of any use to me at all and nobody in these forums seem to have been able to solve the problem either, and i have not been able to find anything regarding this issue in the knowledge base. i am 100% sure i have installed the correct driver, i even re-installed it to be sure, the actual installation process seem'd to go smoothly and there was nothing to indicate otherwise until i tried to record with it. i also checked to make sure the cable was in properly and tried every USB port but nothing works. Clearly the interface is working because the lights come on, but i just can't get it to connect to my computer or integrate it with cubase. I urgently need to get it working as soon as possible. Please help! i have not been given a support code and i've tried to contact tech support but i can't get in touch without said support code, which i have not been given. so please do not re-direct me to tech support unless you can somehow provide me with a support code
first or atleast tell me how to obtain one without going through tech support so that i can actually get in through them in the first place.

  • Have you turned the OB on the right with USB and direct writing under it as if its usb to pc then you want it turned to USB

  • Hey everybody,

If you are having some difficulty with your M-Track, be sure to try the following troubleshooting steps.

If you are using a Windows operating system, make sure you have installed the driver so the hardware can connect to your computer. You can download the current driver for Windows 10 at this link:

    M-Audio M-Track 2X2 Driver - Windows

With the correct driver installed, we can start to troubleshoot the connection between the M-Track and your computer. Ensure that the USB-C end of the cable is firmly in place at the back of the M-Track. You will feel a slight click when the cable is seated properly. Verify that the USB-A end of the cable at your computer's USB port is seated properly as well.

If the M-Track is not detected by the computer, try connecting it with a different USB cable and with different USB ports on your computer. If you continue to have trouble connecting the M-Track, try connecting it to a different computer to see if you can reproduce the same behavior. The M-Track 2X2 series is class compliant with Mac operating systems but if you use a Windows OS, be sure to install its driver. If you have performed the steps above and still cannot connect the M-Track, this sounds like it could be relative to the hardware itself. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
