Hey guys, Would really appreciate help if possible, basically my keystation 49 runs okay with Fruity Loops Studio, The only problem is, the directional buttons, and play stop and record button on the Midi Keyboard are playing notes asif i am hitting a key, so i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea as how to set it up to work with Fruity Loops' play stop and Record button. Any help or insight would be great, thank you.
Note, I can link buttons to controls on the keyboard through FL but the play stop and Record button has no option to link, thats why im confused :(

1Hello Liam,
Thanks for posting. Happy to help!
The Keystation MKII transport controls use either the universal Mackie or HUI protocols from its transport controls. Here's a quick pic explaining how to set this up in FL Studio's Options>MIDI Devices section:
If this doesn't work immediately, this might be because the Keystation is set to HUI instead of Mackie Control. Here are the steps to change that on the Keystation itself:
1) Press the ADVANCED button (LED will light blue)
2) Press the "MACKIE/HUI" key (the F key above middle C)
3) You'll see the color above the OCTAVE +/- LEDs both change from green to red.
Green = Mackie Control
Red = HUI
4) Once the OCTAVE LEDs are green, press the ENTER key (highest key on the keyboard). The blue LED should disappear.
Hope this does it! -

I just bought a Keystation49es and in addition to this I had to change the Keystation 49 port from (generic controller) to "M-Audio Oxygen 49/61" in order for FL Studio to recognize any of the actual piano key inputs. So... the ONLY thing that is not working now is my volume slider. FL Studio shows a green question mark when I move it. The Keystation is sending something but I don't know how to map it. Would you be able to help me to that? I'm looking at the Keystation manual now but I'm concerned that I'll mess everything else up just to get this last thing working.
