Keystation 49 mk3, Windows Defender Security Center constantly reports driver issue. Always have to unplug/replug to get it working.

I know it's a plug & play device, but a few times a day I see an ! on my Windows Defender Security icon and it's always a Device performance & health alert that some Device driver stopped working. This has only ever happened since I got the Keystation 49 mk3. But something seems to be breaking because if I ever try to use my Keystation in Ableton or some other software, it won't work. I doesn't even work if I turn it off and on again. I have to physically unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. Then Ableton has to detect it again. Which is a little annoying when I'm in the process of creating music and anytime I want to use my keyboard I have to remember to unplug it, plug it back in, wait 15 seconds, then start playing.

I've also noticed in Device Manager the device shows a ! next to the icon, yet Windows says the best driver is already installed.

Any ideas? Windows 10 64bit. My computer is updated.

    Thanks for posting!

    Sorry you're having some trouble with that! As you mentioned, the Keystation is a class compliant USB device (plug and play) so it uses drivers that are already installed on your computer's operating system. If your computer is up to date, the USB drivers are probably up to date too but be sure to check that so you can rule it out as a possible cause.

    I would recommend trying the Keystation with a different USB cable, different USB ports on your computer, and a different computer altogether. If you do try that and you experience the same behavior with a different computer, this sounds like it could be a fault of the Keystation. If the Keystation behaves normally on a different machine, it sounds like there is an underlying issue with your computer and I would recommend contacting the manufacturer for additional assistance.

    If you do determine that the Keystation is not behaving correctly, our support team will be able to help you further. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:
