M-Audio Oxygen 61(MKIV) stops working due to voltage fluctuations.

I purchased M-Audio Oxygen 61(MKIV) a year and half ago. There is this strange problem going on with it since then. Whenever i switch on/off any fan or appliances in my room as well as in my house, the Midi keyboard suddenly stops working. LED of midi keyboard remains ON but keyboard doesn't work. I have tried every possible solution. Changing usb cable, getting an external usb hub, resetting Midi keyboard, Uninstalling/reinstalling Drivers. But the problem still persists. Please help

    Hey Rahul,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble! Does the Oxygen 61 exhibit this behavior outside of your house? From your description, it doesn't necessarily sound like a hardware issue with the keyboard but with power distribution. Do you have all of your electronic devices connected to the same outlet? If you disconnect all other appliances apart from the Oxygen and your computer, does the controller work as expected?

    Let me know!

  • I have never tried it outside of my house, but i have another midi keyboard Alesis Q25, and it works fine. It never gets disconnected, only Oxygen 61 is showing this kind of behaviour. I have tried different power outlets as well. And i have also tried it by removing all the appliances except for my laptop and Oxygen 61. But the problem doesn't seem to resolve.
