m-audio code software setup ....brain frying

Hey there I need help with setting up my LOOM and Hybrid 3 software , I've purchased the M-audio code but haven't been able to use it due to this ....before( today) the issue was that when installing it came up with 'modify setup' and today I got as far as it saying 'setup successful' but nothing appears on my desktop (I went to the location program(x86) but it cannot open let alone run .....

I'm attempting to install both Hybrid and LOOM on Windows 8 without ProTools is this why ? I'm just stuck and glum about not having used the midi I hunted high n low for and got on 21/08/15 but it still stands in its box looking pretty.....

  • I’m overwhelmed,cheated
Ok if this cannot be resolved is there a way I can use my M-audio Code 49 in Ignite without it popping up midi learn , how can the mapping be improved as I'm so discouraged about this bday prezzie that I can't yet enjoy ...I'm thinking to return it based on the mood I'm in hopefully this changes by morning

  • Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with that.

Hybrid and Loom are VST instruments, meaning they need to be opened in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), like Pro Tools. So they won't have an application to run on their own, but if you'd like you can use the version of Ableton Live Lite that should have also been included with the keyboard, instead of Pro Tools.

Check out our setup guide here and it should walk you through the whole process:

You can also see our setup guide for Pro Tools here:

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
