I’m frustrated.

M-Track 2X2 and FL studio 11

Hello,I have recently purchase M-Audio M-Track 2X2.

The problem I am having is that whenever I load new plug-ins or open a new project file, I will have to go to audio setting in my Fl studio 11 and change audio setting from M-Track 2X2 ASIO to direct sound M-Track 2X2 and return to M-Track 2X2 ASIO.

After opening my file, if I add another plug-in, I have to the same process every time.

I would like to know what I can do about this issue.

Summary:

I need to change the audio setting from M-Track 2X2 ASIO to M-Track 2X2 direct sound devices and back to the M-Track 2X2 ASIO in FL studio 11 when..

1. I open a project file.

or

2. I load one or more pulg-in.

It would be great if anyone can help me with the issue. Thank you.

  • Hey Joonyeob Yeo,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry you're having some trouble with that! Neither the audio interface you are using nor its driver will have an effect on whether the software itself retains a setting nor the API that you have chosen. The driver is simply a means for the hardware to communicate with your computer. You should select the driver that corresponds to the interface you're using but the software (FL Studio in this case) will be responsible for retaining the settings you've selected.

You may want to try to reinstalling the FL software or try using the M-Track driver in another software to see if you can reproduce the same behavior. You can try using REAPER for this purpose:

    Download REAPER

If you are still having trouble with FL, I would recommend reaching out to Image-Line for software support:

I hope that helps you! Let me know if you have any trouble with your M-Track hardware going forward!

  • Hello, I am helping someone with the exact same issue. The driver does not stick in FL Studio. Can I confirm, was the problem with the above user related to FL Studio application corruption or is the 2x2M device and current driver experiencing some compatability issues with FL Studio products?
