M track 2x2, Cubase won’t record the vocals

Hello, I bought a M Audio M Track 2x2, I’m using a MacBook Pro and Cubase LE.
The interface connects, my MacBook recognizes it, everything works but when I start recording in won’t record any vocals. My microphone works well too. I didn’t download any driver because m audio says I don’t need any. What is the problem??

    Thanks for posting!

    That's correct, the M-Track 2X2 is a class compliant USB device for macOS so you will not need to install a driver in order to connect it to your computer. It sounds like you are nearly there given what's working so far! Be sure to set up an audio track in Cubase and enable it for recording. This Cubase documentation will help you with that:
