M-Track 2x2 / Linux

Hey dear community and employees :)
I was wondering if any of you tried the M-Track 2x2 on Linux ?
Did M-Audio developped any kind of compatibility?

Thank you!

  • Hi Greg,

    Thanks for posting!

It is not officially supported for Linux, so there are no drivers. I did see a response from one user that he was able to get it up and running on Linux, though I'm not sure to what extent.

If you choose to try it out, please use your best judgement!

I've got the M-Track 2X2M running as a DAC for my headphones under Ubuntu 16.04 (Kernel 4.9+ but it most probably works with the 4.4 series).

I also see the analog or SPDIF input options, but didn't test them.

I wish the big knob (if it's even possible?) could be mapped to the OS volume and whatnot. :)
