M-Track 2x2M not showing up in Mac OS 10.13.4

My device does not show up in the devices. It doesn't show that it's connected via the USB list in system info.

The power light is on, but nobody's home!

I've tried connecting to different ports on my mac but nothing works. It did work previously to the OS update, but I hadn't used the device for a few months and now when I come back to it it doesn't work.

    Thanks for posting!

    Sorry you're having some trouble with that! The M-Track 2X2M is a class compliant audio device so it will use your computer's Core audio drivers in order to connect and will not require the installation of any additional drivers.

    If the M-Track's power LED is illuminated, it sounds like some connection has been formed for power but data is not transferring. Ensure that the USB-C end of the cable is firmly in place in the back of the M-Track. You will feel a slight click when the cable is seated properly in the port.

    If the M-Track is still not connecting, let's test the connection between the interface and the computer. Try connecting the M-Track with a different USB cable, with different USB ports on your computer, and with a different computer to see if you can reproduce the same behavior. Be sure to connect directly to the computer via USB and avoid using any USB hubs or adapters.

    If you try the above steps and you are still unable to connect the M-Track to your computer, this sounds like it may be hardware related. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.


    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.
