I’m frustrated

M-Track 2X2M Stopped Working

My M-Track 2X2M Stopped working altogether today. When I plug it into my USB port the lights come on for a split second and then immediately shut off. I have the correct drivers installed and have been successfully using the M-Track for months now with little to no issue (although it disconnected easily at the slightest movement of the unit). I have tried plugging it into other PC's with the exact same result. I'm running windows 10 and using the USB-A Cable as I do not have a USB-C port

    Thanks for posting!

    We have had customers experience connection issues with their M-Track 2X2M because they do not have the USB cable securely connected to the interface. If the Cable is not pushed all the way in, the M-track will still power on, but it will not connect to the computer.

    If you continue to have issues, you may want to reach out to our support team.

    Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

  • This happens to a lot of people connor. I get it all the time.. along with the audio crackles and pops. I genuinely think it has serious design flaws and it's just a cover up also the software drivers haven't been updated since Dec 2016?. so it makes you think what's going on???

    • It's not latency. I've tried turning it up high before many times. And when I'm playing audio from YouTube and mp3 files it's the same!. And I never have the software or harware sound output above 70%. It's had these issues since I've had the unit. And I've seen at least 10 other people on here state the same things.
    • I've asked about 4-5 times on here why is there so many people with the same issues...

      In short
      1. Audio stops playing randomly - most frequently in my daw but also on desktop with general media. Won't work until the interface is unplugged and reinserted

      2. Audio crackles and pops once again in daw and desktop mode.

      3. No driver update since Dec 2016!!! ???? !!!
      I've looked on some other manufacturers websites and the driver gets updated every few months and improved?

      I asked nick d (your colleague )who also posts on here and you get no direct reply just political avoiding of the question! I've wasted over 100 hours trying to sort it out! And the support that's offered is rubbish.

  • The same thing just happened to me. I sent a ticket to the support hoping they'll reply soon. I'll keep you updated after I get it fixed.

  • the same problem with 2x2. it is happened after 6 month of working (only as audio output (without mic and without +48)
