  • Hi Gilles,

Sorry you are having trouble with that.

The M-Track 8 will stay in Eco mode if it is not being recognized by your computer. Please make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for your operating system. What operating system are you using?

Make sure to try different USB ports and cables and even test the device with another computer as well. If you are still having trouble, please describe the problem in detail and your system and we will sort this out.

    Let me know!

similar problem here with a two day old unit. install of drivers went ok and desired result with mapping of usb devices during initial testing to see if it would fit my needs. while installing the software packages today the unit started cycling between on and eco then finally settled in to permanent eco. when plugged in get a momentary on state just long enough for the drivers to see it then it automatically goes eco. unit performs this behaviour on both a win7 and win10 machine.

also tried another usb cable just in case, no change

is it bricked or is there a way to force eco mode permanently off?
also is there harm in having a physical off switch to turn off the unit when not in use with usb still plugged in to a running pc?

Just a wrap up on mine. Replacement unit has been running stable for about 2 weeks now 24/7 so it looks like we are off to the races.
