M-track not working I don't receive any input

Hi I have bought a M-Audio M-track and and I have followed all the instructions to install the device. My os is Windows 7 64 bit Home edition. this is what I have done

the problem is that the device works as output because (I am using Ableton live 8 )
when I try to record and I play the instrumental track I can hear it through the headphone connected to the m-track but the m-track doesn't work as input.
The mic I am using is a shure sv200

do you know which is the problem ??? it's driving me crazy :-( in the following picture there is the m-track and how I connected the mic and the headphone

  • p.s this is how I set the preferences in Ableton as you can see there is the red cross on the input of the M-track

  • Hello,

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I notice in your picture that all of the M-Track signal LEDs are lit up, but there is nothing plugged into that 2nd input. Those lights should not be on all the time, so this may be related to some time of hardware issue.
