M-Track Plus MKII not working with Cubase on latest MAC OS

Just got the MKII today and have not been able to figure out why I can't get any audio through from the mic in Cubase. We've tried everything we can find to try, including everything it says in the notes, in the user guide. Again on a mac, need help.

    Hi Chase,

    Thanks for posting!

For a full setup walk through, check out our guide for the M-Track Eight:

M-Track Eight - Setup in Cubase

The setup will be virtually the same for an M-Track, though you'll have less inputs to setup. Your issue is probably just a matter of activating the ports and setting them up in the VST Connections window. Keep following the guide for instructions on how to start recording, too.

  • Hey Corey, we have gone through these steps with another employee over the phone. He ran us through them, still no audio from the microphone through Cubase. Going through the steps actually ended up making it to where we couldn't arm the tracks anymore until figuring out what the last setups were.

What mic are you using? What kind of cable? If you turn the monitor knob to direct, do you hear the signal from the microphone?

What operating system? What version of Cubase?

Do you get any output from the M-Track through any software?

It sounds like the M-track I/O is being recognized just fine, so the next step would be to test it with a different software. Try it out with something like Garageband or the included version of Ableton Live Lite:
