M-Track Quad, no ASIO options with Ignite.

When using AIR Ignite with M-Audio M-Track QUAD, there is no ASIO option in the audio setup. Just WASAPI. I have just installed the new M-Audio drivers from their website.Anyone got ideas about this? Cheers!

  • Hi Dean,

    Thanks for posting!

Make sure that you use the arrows on the left and right to scroll through all of your options. If the drivers have been installed correctly and the M-Track Quad shows up in your system setup, you can use it with other software like iTunes, etc. it should be ok.

If you are unsure, check to see if the M-Track shows up in your device manager under "Sound Video and Game Controllers" with the number 2.9.55. That should indicate that the driver was installed properly and is currently in use.

Of course, if you still don't see it is to reinstall Ignite and make sure it has full administrator privileges to try and avoid any permission problems in your system.

    I hope this helps!

  • Thank you. I reinstalled Ignite and the generic low-latency ASIO option has now appeared but not the M-Audio one. Seems to work though so many thanks!
