  • Hello Abtahi,

    Thanks for posting.

With noise/hiss, there could be quite a few factors. Let's figure it out!

What model AKG mic do you have?

When you're recording vocals, how close to the mic are you?

Finally, where do you usually find yourself setting the GAIN knob on the M-Track when recording?

Let me know and I'd be happy to help!

    • Hi Dan

I have the same issue, I have a c01 mic and it records very low. If I turn up the gain I get the same hiss. I'm running windows 7 64 on a Dell vostro laptop. I have downloaded the latest drivers and I have the m-track set to analog, using acid studio as my recording program

  • I ve been facing this issue since 2014 :(..havent found a fix yet,,....I hope some tech from M-Audio steps forward to fix this issue(via youtube would be great)..My configurations are the same as Mr.LEE.....M Track and Samson C01....By powering the phantom power on,while the track monitoring options are disabled in the DAW,i can notice a little bit noise in the input(visible only through the spectrum analyser)..and it all dissappears when i switch off the phantom power.Honestly M-Track is the best affordable hardware in the market, not just me but most of the m track users wanted it use for quality recordings, rather than trying to fix the noise issue...I hope someone from M Audio fix this issue before M Track gets off from the market..
