modwheel affect the previous recorded midi track

When I intend to record midi track with modwheel , why modwheel always affects the previous recorded track . im using kontakt with multioutput . anyone can help ?

    Thanks for posting!

    The mod wheel will affect whichever track is currently armed for recording in your software. It sounds like the previously recorded tracks may still be armed for recording. If you are using a player plugin like Kontakt, the MIDI channel on which the virtual instruments are receiving MIDI data might also be affecting which tracks receive the mod wheel data.

    If you want to verify the MIDI channel on which the Oxygen is sending mod wheel data, I would recommend using a MIDI monitor. You can find software for Windows and Mac operating systems at the links below:
