Mono recording

Hi there I was hoping yall could help me, I am having problems with my M-Track2x2.
I am recording guitar and it seems that the interface is pushing out a left mono track only according to my DAW (Reaper). No matter what settings I play with in my DAW it does not want to record in Mono.

    Hey Cameron,

    Thanks for posting!

It sounds like your track in Reaper is routed to Stereo Input with M-Track Input 1/2 selected. With this setting you will only receive signal from Input 1 of the M-Track, which Reaper will pan as the "Left" channel, even though it is a Mono signal.

For a true Mono signal, you will need to reconfigure your DAW settings. Right-click the Record button to pull up your audio routing menu. Under Input selection, change your track to Mono Input and select M-Track channel 1.

You should now be able to hear and see your guitar as a Mono signal!

    Hope this helps!
