I’m frustrated

My computer isn't detecting input from my Axiom AIR 32 Mini.

Most of the time it doesn't recognise the USB connection, showing it in device manager as an unknown usb device. I've tried different USB ports, but it only seems to connect after reinstalling the driver.

Even when it does connect I still get no input. I've tried MIDI-OX but no inputs show up when I press anything.

Computer is Windows 8.1.
Processor is Inter Core i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz

    Hey Rhys Merriman,

    Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble! Have you tried testing the Axiom with a different USB cable or even a different computer? If you are still unable to establish a connection after trying this then there's most likely an issue with the USB port.

If this is the case, I suggest contacting the support team for warranty information. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for the reply, but I figured out it was a USB port issue. It works with the ports at the back of my computer, which I didn't try because it led to an awkward setup but I think I've figured out a decent enough one for now.
