no signal into pro-tools audio track - to record

How do I record an audio track through my M-audio 2x2 C series
I'm familiar with pro tools but can't get a record signal into protools.
Interface has a good signal, it's just not getting to a pro tools track.

    Hey Peter,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble! Have you selected the M-Track as the Input and Output Device in Pro Tools' Playback Engine?

If so, you'll want to confirm that your track in Pro Tools is receiving from the same input that your sound source is connected to on the M-Track. For example, if your sound source is connected to Input 1, set the Pro Tools track to receive on Input 1. Open the interface menu on your track to enable the correct input path. Once you've verified this, enable the Record button.

I recommend watching this tutorial. It is for the M-Track 8x4 but the general setup is identical:

    Pro Tools initial setup

Try this and let me know how it goes!
