Oxygen 61 (blue) out of key in Fruity Loops

What I mean is that when I play a B for example it plays a Bb. If I play an A it plays Ab etc. This just started happening. Have not had this issue since I got this controller. I've restarted the keyboard, program and even my computer.

  • Hello Cody,

    Thanks for posting.

The Oxygen 61 (blue) can be transposed either by octave or semitone. Sounds like it's transposed by one note here.

You enter the transpose mode by pressing the octave + and - buttons together. After you do this, the + and - buttons will now shift by single notes instead of octaves.

You can then confirm the notes are lined up properly with a MIDI monitoring software. Here are a couple free ones:

    Windows: MIDI-OX

Open MIDI-OX with all other programs closed. In the Options>MIDI Devices section, select your controller ports from the MIDI Input menu. Click OK.
Now MIDI-OX will simply list all incoming MIDI messages. This will help confirm if the controller itself is responding properly.

    Mac: MIDI Monitor

Open MIDI Monitor with all other programs closed. In the "Sources" section, check the boxes for your controller's ports.
Now MIDI Monitor will list all incoming MIDI Messages. This will help confirm if the controller itself is responding properly.

    Hope this helps!
