Oxygen 61 drops out

While using it with Cubase 9 on Windows 10, it sometimes stops functioning after a bit of time. No signals are received. I have to switch it off and on before it works.

Or other times, the foot pedal value gets stuck, or flashes between values of 0 to 127. Again, I have to switch it off and on or remove the foot pedal.

Is this a driver problem?

  • Hi Barry,

Thanks for contacting us! Glad to assist!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Oxygen 61. The Oxygen keyboards are class compliant, meaning, there is not an extra driver you need to install. Here is a troubleshooting guide that you can try:

    http://www.noterepeat.com/articles/pc-troubleshooting/95-troubleshooting-class-compliant-usb-compute...

If the product appears with a yellow triangle or other icon next to it, and/or appears in a different category in Device Manager, this may just indicate that the drivers are not installed correctly or are out of date. You can right click where you see controller and select un-install. You can then disconnect and reconnect the controller and try again

I hope this is helpful! Let me know if there any questions.

  • Thanks Nick,

I did check my driver and it was fine. Even reinstalled it. But the problem persists. Either the foot pedal makes it crash, the C10-C17 or a key. Sometimes I am not even touching anything and the digital reading flashes 0 and 127 very fast.
