Oxygen 49 (MKIV) Not Mapping to GarageBand

My new Oxygen49 is not directlinking to Garageband on my laptop.
Yes, I downloaded the driver for the MK1V Oxygen49.
Yes, I've pressed "Auto" on the Oxygen.
No, the bundle is not appearing in the GarageBand package contents.

The above appear to be the most common responses from those with "solutions".
Please advise!

  • Hey Paul,

    Thanks for posting!

It does sound like you are doing everything correctly but if the bundle file is not appearing in GarageBand's contents folder, it does not sound like it was installed correctly. This file will need to be in that directory so GarageBand will know what to do with the incoming data from the Oxygen when AUTO is enabled.

Let's make sure you are using the correct file for DirectLink - please download and install the file at the following link:

    Oxygen DirectLink v1.1.1 for GarageBand

Check the package contents directory after the installation to verify that the bundle file is added to the directory.

If you are still having some trouble with the setup, our support team will be happy to help you take a closer look! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
