Oxygen61 Pitch Bend problems.

The pitch bend stopped sending pitch bend data. It is sending data but when I record it, it shows up as CC71 data.

Also the center position intermittently sets itself to 46 instead of 64. I have preformed the factory reset and that does not help.

Any help appreciated.

  • Hey Art,

    Thanks for posting!

The pitch bend wheel is assignable so it is possible that you inadvertently set the wheel to send CC71. Resetting the Oxygen should return the wheel to its original setting. If the wheel is not resting at 64 and is causing the controller to play out of tune, this sounds like it may be hardware related. • Thanks for the reply. Found this on the forum and that fixed it. Here it is for others who may have the same problem.

    1) Press the EDIT button
    2) Press SELECT
    3) Move the pitch wheel (you should see "C31" on the display)
    4) Press the CTRL ASGN key
    5) Enter "144" using the numeric keys
    6) Press the ENTER key (to the right of the numbers)

  • Well, I have to take that fix back. It's only temporary as the keyboard resets itself back to CC71 and incorrect center position of 46. Grr....
