  • Hey Miguel,

    Thanks for posting!

Yes, you can assign buttons in a Code controller preset to different MIDI channels. This can be done easily with the Code's preset editor.

In the image below, you can see that I've selected Button 1 and can assign it to whichever MIDI channel I'd like to use. Repeat this process for each button, send the preset to the Code, and you're done!

    I hope that helps you!

  • But my question, is when I assing midi channel for change a preset, when I press button or pad, the midi channel of the keyboard change them ? or only the pad or button I assing.
I need change different presets in different midi channels, and when change, the keyboard change to the same channel.

  • The pad or button will send MIDI data on that channel but the rest of the Code's output will not be affected. It is possible to send multiple MIDI control commands on different channels at one time (example: simultaneously press 2 buttons that are set to send data on two different MIDI channels).

Pressing the Channel button and using the up and down arrow buttons will change the global MIDI channel output. Any controls that are set to use the global channel will be affected by this but any controls that you have assigned to a specific MIDI channel (not global) will continue to send data on that MIDI channel.

    I hope that helps!
