I have an oxygen 61 MKIV two weeks ago and at any moment stopped working the buttons c18, c 21, c23 and the stop button. A Why is that, not to do because what follows manufactures and restores the problem, someone else happened that you ah? ...

  • Hi,

    Thanks for posting!

First, try a factory reset: Hold down the octave buttons while powering the keyboard on

If you are still having trouble, test the buttons with a midi monitor:

    Windows: MIDI-OX

Open MIDI-OX with all other programs closed. In the Options>MIDI Devices section, select your controller ports from the MIDI Input menu. Click OK.
Now MIDI-OX will simply list all incoming MIDI messages. This will help confirm if the controller itself is responding properly.

    Mac: MIDI Monitor

Open MIDI Monitor with all other programs closed. In the "Sources" section, check the boxes for your controller's ports.
Now MIDI Monitor will list all incoming MIDI Messages. This will help confirm if the controller itself is responding properly.

If anything shows up on the screen when you hit the button, that is a sign the button is working properly.

Let me know how it goes!

  • My guess is this was resolved by the factory reset. It's very possible that the function of the buttons was just changed accidentally and no longer mapped to your software. resetting the factory settings just flipped it back to its original state.

Glad that worked out for you!
