problem with m-track 2x2 - hardware not connected

I know it's milion topics like this, but when I wrote in one of them nobody answer me.

windows (10 64-bit AND 7 64-bit) doesn't recognize the device. When i put the microphone to the interface every led is working good - when I say something to the microphone I can see reaction on the interface.
BUT - Windows all the time show me information "usb device not recognized".
I've only USB 3.0 and I used 1.0.6 driver to M-Track 2x2 (yes, I'm sure that I used good one).

I tried everything that you wrote in other topics.
I had the same problem with microphone from M-Audio and never fix that.

Can somebody tell me what the fuck is going on? I tried to fix it from month! I'm really tired...

  • Hey Andreas,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry you're having trouble connecting your M-Track 2X2. Is it a system message that is telling you the device is not recognized? Can you please post a screenshot of this error?

Are you using two computers - one running Windows 7 and one running Windows 10? If so, do you receive this error from both machines?

  • It's in polish and means something like this:
    USB device not recognized.
latest USB device connected to this system is not functioning properly and the windows system does not recognize it.

it happens on windows 10, when I use win7 nothing happens, do not see any information. but I care more about win10

  • Hey Andreas,

It's important to make sure your connection in the back of the M-Track is solidly in place - it is possible to make a partial connection and receive power but not transfer data properly.

I know you've tried connecting to two machines with both Windows 7 and Windows 10 - if you can, it would be worth your time to try a third computer. If you can replicate the symptom a third time, it sounds like it could be a hardware issue. If that's the case, warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • I tried to use it on my father's computer when I was in Poland and it was working - Windows 10 and USB 2.0. So hardware is ok, I think. But when I try to use it on my computer (Windows 10, USB 3.0) it isn't working at all.
I think that propably driver have a problem with USB 3.0 (somebody in other topic wrote that had the same problem with usb 3.0 and when he used usb 2.0 it was working again).
