Profire 610 Standalone Mode

I want to use my Profire 610 in Standalone Mode. I know that Input 1 and 2 are routed to Output 1 and 2. Are Input 3 and 4 also routed to Output 3 and 4?

  • Hey João,

    Thanks for posting!

The ProFire 610 is a legacy product with limited available support but you should be able to change the routing of the ProFire's I/O with its control panel software. By default, the S/PDIF input is converted to analog and sent out of analog outputs 3-4 but you can use the control panel software to choose where audio will be sent when using the ProFire in standalone mode.

You can download all available software for the ProFire 610 from the following link under the Legacy series:

M-Audio Drivers, Firmware, & Software Updates Search

More information about using the ProFire 610 in standalone mode and its software control panel can be found on pages 24 and 11 of the user guide. Like the driver, you can download the here under the Legacy series:

    M-Audio Documentation Search

    I hope that helps you!
